Candy Cane Project
Candy Cane Project 2025
The time has come for our 5th annual Candy Cane Project! The CCP was created to support children and foster families within the foster care system during the holiday season. Ensuring all kids receive the same holiday magic as your own. With your support we have been able to help thousands of kids wake up on Christmas morning with a little extra holiday magic. Galyons is excited to continue hosting this incredible showing of community and giving. Cumberland County leads the state in the highest percentage of foster kids and while it is heartbreaking to hear, we are beyond grateful for the foster parents and social workers who do all they can to support the kiddos in this area. As we all know the holidays can be overwhelming, so we ask for your help to lift some of the weight foster families feel to support their foster kids this holiday season.
North Carolina 2025 Candy Cane Project we will be serving the kids from Omni Family Of Services. A multi-state agency supporting children, and families through foster care training and placement, behavioral health, and adoption services and family preservation. Each kiddo in their care has carefully filled out their Christmas list. Filled with fun facts, necessities, and wishes to help you get to know them a little better. Please do not feel obligated to get everything on the list. We normally recommend two to three items, but do whatever you feel most comfortable with. The list is meant to give you options not requirements. Have fun with it and be creative! Please reach out with any questions or concerns. annie@galyonsfostersupport.com
Gifts must be returned to a designated drop off station no later than December 19th.Please put all items in a gift bag (these sometimes have to be checked by agency before distribution) labeled with the kiddos first name, last initial, and foster home ID number located at the top of the selected list.
